Actually the basic plot is not too unique.. I mean, come on, the concept of 'not so popular girl in love with the badass of the school' is SO cliche right. But the way the movie brings that cliche concept to a more realistic way really distinguishes the movie from the others. I just love how the movie tells the phases we overcome in life.. High school, university, and marriage. Love it!

And man, the soundtracks are very good too.

The movie actually reminds me of Twilight.. But of course, way way WAY better. Typical korean romantic drama movies, it very much touches the heart.. Very.. I'm still in tears right now!

Pay it Forward

The main idea of the story is about kindness, I reckon. The idea of helping others without expecting something in return and hope that the person, would do the same thing to another person. And that another person, would do the same thing to anyone else and it all would eventually create this sort of 'kindness chain'. Hence 'pay it forward'.

This is very motivating and thought-provoking although the 'positive energy' that it gave me didn't last much long but it still did happen to give me such a positive energy so well it's good.. Gotta warn you first though that it's a major tearjerker.. Like it hit you right through your heart and makes you feel the pain just like in the movie.......

Okay I exaggerated it a little bit but it IS a sad and a very motivating movie.

Silver Linings Playbook

It's a story between two problematic people. Pat is a guy with mental illness whose wife cheated on him. While Tiffany, is a woman whose husband perished in a car crash. They meet each other through mutual relatives and, well, through their similarities they develop a sort of romantic relationship. Although it's not romantic at all from the beginning to the middle. In fact it's sort of. Um. Well the movie is actually very depressing but somehow the 'depression' is depicted in a very enchanting way. The story is very well built from the beginning towards the end and the premise of the story itself is already very original and unique. So.. I'd say that this is such a fresh air to the romantic comedy genre and it surely is my favorite too!

Imagine High School Musical. Relish the unessential dramas, cliche songs, and add a bunch of greatness with hits of very cool song performances.

There you have Pitch Perfect.

I laughed so many times to it as it's just very humoric! And the songs stunned me! I actually danced to some of the songs.. (so wtf but its true!!!!) Hahahah and never thought that Anna Kendrick had such a sexy voice..  Definitely my favorite.. Definitely!!!!! Waiting for the sequel!
